For brands and their representatives
List or update a brand in the Panama census
Four things happen through this form: adding a brand that operates in Panama and is not yet documented, claiming an existing profile, correcting a figure with evidence, or telling us a brand is looking for an operator here. The request reaches PanaFranquicias at [email protected]. First reply within one business day; corrections within five.
Listing is editorial, and so is the outcome. A brand in the census was put there because a source showed a unit open, not because anyone paid.

What this does and does not change
- Being listed does not buy a favourable assessment. The fields, the sources and the order of the directory are editorial and are not for sale.
- Claiming a profile does not make a brand «verified». Claiming is free and gives control over the fields; the commercial seals are a separate process with published definitions, and none is active today.
- Advertising is separate from method. Sponsored placements are labelled as such and change neither the data nor the ranking.
- Corrections need evidence. A document, a page or a dated statement we can read. We check it against the source before changing anything.
- The editorial history stays. When a figure changes, the profile records what changed and when, rather than quietly replacing it.
- We may decline. A brand with no unit open in Panama does not enter the census; if it has announced an arrival, it goes to the Expansion Radar instead.
Submit or update a brand
Everything marked required is required. We ask for a corporate email because it is the first signal that a request comes from the brand or its operator.
What happens next
- The request is registered in the internal mailbox. You get a reference on screen only after the mail server accepts it; if it does not, we say so instead of showing a false confirmation.
- We reply from panafranquicias.com within one business day, with the questions needed to document or amend the profile.
- For a correction, we check the evidence against its source and amend the profile within five business days, recording the change and its date.
What we will ask for
- A source that shows the unit is open: the brand's own store locator, a landlord directory, a dated announcement.
- Who operates the brand in Panama, and under what kind of contract, when a source names it.
- For investment figures, the document where the brand publishes them.
